We loved, loved the Cabernet and Praxis Viognier!!!
Arbios Cellars/Praxis Cellars is a small Sonoma County family wine business. Bill has been a winemaker for 40 years and enjoyed a successful career with many prominent wineries. He created Arbios Cellars in 1993 and Praxis Cellars in 2000, and his dream of expressing his vision and creating something lasting was realized. When Susan & Bill married in 1999, she signed on to the dream.
Arbios Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is their flagship wine.

CHAMPAGNE OF THE YEAR
STORY BEHIND THE LABEL
For almost five hundred years, the Philipponnat family has left its mark on the soils of the Champagne region. Generations of men and women have cultivated the lands of Ay, the family’s home since the time of Apvril Philipponnat, who own lands at Le Leon, between Ay and Dizy in 1522. In the 16th century the family ancestors were winemakers and merchants, suppliers to the court of Louis XIV, and magistrates and Royal Mayors of Ay – a town which was directly dependent on the Crown since the era of the Countess of Champagne.
Royal Réserve Brut is the purest expression of the House’s style. Offering a superb balance between structure, persistence and viscosity, this cuvée reveals the essential character of the Mareuil-sur-Ay. After three years aging on the lees, Royal Réserve is pleasantly matured while losing nothing of its freshness.
To the eye, the deep gold in color with amber glints lures you in to a delicate froth, lively and lingering. On the nose, the first aroma reveals vine blossom, linden and fresh toasted bread. After breathing, aromas of summer berries, citrus fruit and honey develop. There is a captivating mid-palate filled with red currants and raspberry; full-bodied and generous with the most fascinating freshly baked brioche taste that permeate the mouth… slowly asking for another sip.
